Today is day 23, which means the Daniel fast is done. I’m glad to have my Tim Horton’s hot chocolate back, but I kinda’ miss the fast. But I can tell the fast has worked some changes in me. I’m in Saint Louis for some meetings, which means I woke up today in a hotel. And in front of me is a big, beautiful flat screen 32”…monitor. But I haven’t turned it on today. Not even to watch Sportscenter.

We have established a few traditions in our family over the

In the fall of 1997, I had just begun my four year walk through Gateway College. I was wide-eyed, still trying to find classrooms and buy books. Not so with the seniors. They knew the campus and had already read the books I hadn't even bought yet. And named among those seniors was British Columbia native, Anthony Ens.
Throughout my freshman year, I looked up to Anthony. He was blessed with a raspy, preacher voice. My voice hadn't even changed yet.
